Q1 2021 Android Performance of Top Consumer Finance Apps in France

In the first quarter of 2021, several consumer finance apps on the Android platform showed varied performance in the French market. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the downloads and weekly active users for these applications.

Banxo maintained a steady user base, with weekly active users hovering around 1M throughout the quarter. Its downloads peaked in mid-February with nearly 39K downloads before stabilizing around 16K to 20K downloads in subsequent weeks.

The Ma Banque app saw its weekly active users fluctuate slightly, staying mainly between 2.4M and 2.6M. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 18K to 22K, except for an early March dip to around 11K.

La Banque Postale experienced a similar trend to Ma Banque, with active users ranging between 1.3M and 1.4M. Downloads for La Banque Postale showed more variability, with a notable spike to over 21K in early January and a drop to about 11K in early March.

Google Wallet had fewer weekly active users compared to the banking apps, with numbers ranging from around 137K to 169K. This app's download numbers fluctuated between 12K and 17K, with a noticeable dip in late February and early March.

Lastly, Paylib, le paiement mobile saw its active users start at approximately 28K and end the quarter with an increase to around 25K. Downloads for Paylib had a significant drop in early January, descending to 12K, but recovered towards the end of the quarter with a climb to over 16K.
